Went with Wati to KKH for her check up last week. Saw alot of ''penguins'' there. Okay, I mean pregnant ladies. Dear was the one who started naming pregnant ladies as penguins cos of they way they walk with the baby in them. But it is very tiring to carry a baby around every where they go know! Anywhere, Wati had to do an ultrasound and see a doctor that day. Thought I cant go in with her for the ultrasound so I sat at the waiting area. Barely in my seat for 10 seconds, Wati came out to say I can go in. So excited! It has been ages since I last saw an ultrasound procedure. The last time was about 15 years ago and I was about 5 years old. It was an ultrasound done on my mum to check on my brother. The doctor-in-charge then told Wati that the machine she was using is a new one which just came in during lunch time. The ultrasound is fantastic! Though the baby was facing the otherside, the machine or should I say the 'scanner', could be programmed to scan as if the baby is facing the 'scanner'! It could show alot of things. The baby's heart beating, heart size, limbs, size of the limbs, brains, etc... And we got to know the sex of the baby that day. It is a BOY! The doc said,'This are the legs (while moving her mouse cursor to show the two legs) and if you something in between protruding out, it is a boy. And it's a boy.' She was saying everything so camly that I didnt realised that she said it was a boy! Felt happy for Wati cos she was hoping for a boy this time round. The doctor said that the baby is growing well. Was happy to hear that.

Long ago I have wanted to settle down and have a family of my own. But there are always things that will hold us back. It is not just having found the right man but there are alot of other factors around us to hold us back. Every parents want to give their child the best, me too, SO, that is why I cant just go make a baby as and when I like when! I dont even have enough money to buy 6 years of milk powder. Maybe after I get my degree then I will start with the planning for a baby. And it is PLANNING not MAKING! Haha! Tata ~~~
